• Payment information — billing details processed securely by Stripe. We do not store card numbers on our servers.
• Communications — messages sent between buyers and sellers through the Platform.
• Usage data — pages visited, search queries, browser type, IP address and device information collected automatically via cookies and analytics tools.
• Location data — suburb and state you provide for listings or search.

We use your personal information to:

• Create and manage your account
• Display and manage vehicle listings
• Facilitate communication between buyers and sellers
• Process subscription payments for dealer plans
• Send transactional emails (listing confirmations, account notices)
• Improve the Platform through analytics
• Comply with legal obligations
• Prevent fraud and abuse

We will not use your information for unrelated purposes without your consent.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with:

• Service providers — Supabase (database), Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Vercel (hosting). These providers are bound by confidentiality obligations.
• Other users — listing details you publish (including suburb, vehicle description and photos) are visible to all visitors. Your email and phone number are only shared with parties you message directly.
• Law enforcement — where required by Australian law or a valid court order.

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to improve your experience. These include session cookies (deleted when you close your browser) and persistent cookies (stored for a set period).

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some functionality of the Platform.

Your data is stored on secure servers operated by Supabase (hosted in Australia or Singapore). We use industry-standard encryption (TLS) for data in transit and implement reasonable security measures to protect your information.

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Platform. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.

Under the Privacy Act 1988, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate or outdated information
• Request deletion of your personal information
• Opt out of marketing communications at any time
• Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites (such as charging network affiliates and finance partners). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their privacy policies.

The Platform is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the Platform. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised.
